hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) is a Danish lifestyle concept. “In essence, hygge means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people.” -vistdenmark.com

I love how hygge is a shared experience available to all—from those living in a tiny apartment to a multimillion dollar estate. Enjoying simple pleasures, gratitude, and relaxation. It is a concept we can all get behind. I believe that finding the right space that functions for you and your family is key to finding hygge at home and living your best life. I would love to chat about how we can get you there. If this is your first time hearing about hygge, I hope you continue to explore what I consider to be a valuable and relatable lifestyle concept.

Meik Wiking, author of "The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way to Live Well", shares the ten principles of the Hygge Manifesto: Atmosphere, Presence, Pleasure, Equality, Gratitude, Harmony, Comfort, Truce, Togetherness and, finally, Shelter.

“Happiness consists more in small conveniences or pleasures that occur every day, than in great pieces of good fortune that happen but seldom.”

-Benjamin Franklin
